I was 6 foot tall in the 6th grade. Grew to 6'2" 240. That was big back in the day. I played MLB hard. Loved the contact.

This. Coach just called it "setting the pads". Tried to do it pre-game by simulating game contact with teammates, but it was always that first series that "set the pads" for me.

I don't know where else to post this. I swear I remember there being an **** Official **** High School Football thread that was created recently, but I must be wrong because I can't find it anywhere.

I have to gloat a bit about my youngest brother. He is a Junior and athletic as hell...excels at everything he does. It's fun. He has made all kinds of impressive plays with his athleticism so far this season. One of them was snapped via camera last weekend... Check this out:

I was 5'10 190 perfect running back size. Sadly I was a NT because that matched my speed. Not too many chances for a sub 200 lb lineman to do college.
