It's a combination of skilled personnel management (acquiring talent that fits the team mold within the constraints of the salary cap), skilled coaching and talented players that wins. It's very difficult to win without all three. Of those three I'd consider coaching the least important, because while it's rare it's actually possible to win with good players despite bad coaching (see: Denver Broncos 2013-14) but almost impossible to coach a bad collection of players to a winning level in the nfl. Management is probably the most important. But they are all intrinsically linked.

I used to feel that way.

But at the nfl level, everyone has some talent And with the new cb a and less amount of time to spend in prqctice, film etc, coaching has become that much more important.

Coaching encompassing the wide array of what "coaching" actually means that is.

There are QBs we should take chances on, are they guaranteed to be great? No. But we need to take chances. Finding a franchise/elite QB is the best shot at winning some playoff games.

Still the only franchise to never draft a QB that made a pro bowl or win a playoff game.. God we own some shitty records recently, fewest sacks in a season by a defense, no TDs to a WR in the modern era.. Sigh..

I am a huge soccer fan and both A Chiefs and Sporting season ticket holder. No way the NFL isn't Hunt's primary focus. Suppose you were in sales and had a major Fortune 500 account and also did some business with a little vintage record shop where you hung out as a kid and still frequented. Where are you putting most of your focus. Hunt's focus may be on making money and not on winning, but rest assured his focus, at least compared to FC Dallas, is on KC.
