Really? I mean, the music was cool and all and it's great to see how much goes into a live performance. However, I thought the "story aspect" of this was absolute garbage. Terrible acting, no continuity and wtf is up with the horrid animations and that stupid doll the dude carried around?
I could only make it an hour before I just hit the FF button thru those parts. |

I thought it was pretty good. watched it on Netflixa few months back, but yea, the parts with Dane DeHaan were kinda lame.

I saw it in IMAX. I'm one who thinks Metallica sold out, but this movie kicked friggen ass.
I despised Some Kind if Monster though. I turned garbage off after 15 min. |

I'd rather watch the Katy Perry movie. At least she's hot! I lost a lot of respect for Metallica after some kind of monster.

I liked the 'movie' part of it too. Simply because it seemed pretty open to the viewers' interpretation of the meaning etc . I've read some reviews on-line of the 'plot' or meaning etc, but it was completely different than mine.
I thought it was a very different approach to a 'concert' DVD etc.

If you're talking about Through The Never etc, I LOVED the ending. I think this is the part that leaves a lot open to the viewers interpretation.
Spoiler!
