Football Will the Big X be left out of the playoff again this year? - Page 7

The Big X as we know has been hamstrung by not having a conference championship game and by only having 10 teams, and with Baylor's loss this weekend, the Big X now has only one undefeated team left - Oklahoma State, who is due to face two top 10 teams in the next two weeks.

Will the Big X be without an argument to put a team in the playoff again this season, when they end up with multiple 1-loss teams and no way to differentiate them?

I don't think they really care. One loss Florida goes in before a one loss SEC team.

Things are a lot better for the Big12 if ND loses another game.

I think you mean a "one loss Big 12 team".

And no, that won't be the case. The SEC hasn't won the title in years so there's no reason for the conference champion to get any kind of bump.

The Florida quarterback is a fraud who cheater the game to victories and when you look at those victories it simply isn't impressive. The SEC East is perhaps the worst division in football since divisions have been conceived in major college football. Which makes beating Ole Miss and Alabama the lone highlights. Ole Miss is quickly reverting back to their true selves and Alabama will be all Florida has to stand on.

That's nothing compared to Oklahoma's resume.

In support of your argument these are still games OU has to win so as has been said many times in this thread there is still a long way to go.

I'm not sure that scenario is going to happen but you do a good job exposing this thread for what it is.

MU fans have been ****ed harder than any fanbase in the history of collegiate sport this week. Creating a thread to disparage the conference that most of them wish they were still in was almost too easy to predict.

They've been given a break by rival fans, most of which sided with them during their crisis.

But after this display you can't think the good feelings are going to last.

You're looking at a fanbase which has a coach that is flat quitting on their university and a situation that is so toxic that no legit head coaching candidate is even going to consider taking the job.

Pinkel was already losing when it came to recruiting not only to other SEC schools but also to schools like Nebraska, Kansas, and Eastern Michigan.

It's the kind of story that an Oscar winning screenwriter would have trouble coming up with but alas here we have it.

Gay players, DUI's, rape, drug dealing, racial strife and now.... no future.
