So the Vikings signed a backup QB, for free, that has shown he can protect the ball and be somewhat productive in a system that features the running game and playaction short passes.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs trade premium picks for a guy that has shown the same, to play is a system that features a lot of passing, something he has shown he struggles with throughout his career. Who is dumb, again?
