Ok Ive figured out an easy way to do it. Put in Juwaan Taylor. Take 4 holding calls in a row or something so its 1st and 30. Or dont because Taylor will probably commit the penalties anyway. Have Gabbert take a 20 yard sack. Boom. Now we are 2nd and 50. They will give us everything underneath. 2nd and 50 throw a 9 yard quick out to Kelce so he runs out of bounds. Pow. Ok 3rd and 41. Easiest one yet. There will be a 20 yard cushion. Travis runs 9 yards and sits down for 1000+ yards.

This honestly sounds like some shit Bill Belichick would pull. Like, purposely taking penalties over and over to run time until they changed the rule.

He may be tough and durable , but this is the first season that he is really showing his age, a game off could do him some good. Theres no guarantee that they could get him 16 yards in the first quarter , unless the Chargers play along... which is debatable with with an interim coach. I all truth , if he wouldn't have dropped a few of his last passes he would have easily been over 1,000.

Well it's not like the game matters. If the game had 'integrity' you wouldn't be resting your starters. KC isn't taking it any more seriously than a preseason game.

Since the Chargers aren't relevant to make the playoffs, I think it is as reasonable as showing up and playing second and third string guys for exactly what purpose?

Still makes me laugh people think you are going to learn anything from playing a meaningless game against a meaningless team. Only bad things can happen. Chargers showed us this last year when Mike Williams got carted off the field against Denver week 18 with the same Bullshift macho rah rah attitude.

You sit all of your starters it's just simple, playing people for personal goals means you aren't playing for a championship; if Travis gets his yard and this team gets bounced week 1 this place will be the first to melt down.
