Anyone play the beta? From what I played, it was pretty fun, but seems to be lacking the originality to vault it over other titles. I'm kind of on the fence about getting this, which is pretty disappointing. I have been anticipating this game since Xbox One and PS4 were announced at E3.

Anyone else have any thoughts? Are you picking it up?

I will patiently await hometeam's opinion of Ubisoft

The original trailer/gameplay for The Division was god damn beautiful.

Now it looks like a slight upgrade of ps3.

And yes, I know Battlefront was EA.. but it was the same type of thing, a bunch of hype, and the game is nearly dead only a few months later. More alive on consoles, but only because the competition is shit.

I am calling BS on it also.

It will be some system, that does not allow you to buy the gun/gear directly.

Probably a system where you earn points for the chance of something good to drop, then you have to defend the item to get it out of the zone. Or you can buy points and pay for the chance for something cool to drop. rinse repeat.

That would not be p2w in a sense.

Technically they aren't lying about it; instead you have to go to the PSN store (on Ps4) to purchase the vanity items. By dong that the items are considered DLC and not micro transactions. So, yeah... a bunch of bullshit.

I absolutely wanted to love this game, and I really did enjoy the beta, but nothing new is being done really. I was hoping they would have a fun PvP similar to how Destiny does it. The DZ was fun for a bit, but will quickly get old.

In June, the Underground expansion will send you to hunt enemies in the vast mazes of tunnels and subways that run under Manhattan. Finally, Last Stand will arrive along with winter, challenging players with a new, relentless threat.

Was hoping Ubi would do something like this to give those on the fence about the season pass, like me, reason enough to go ahead and dive in....and they succeeded. Kudos to them.

PS4 Gold Edition pre-ordered and ready for Tuesday...can't wait.

imgoing to double dip. pc first then ps4 when it goes on sale. Just like i did with Rainbow 6: Seige. That game is amazingly fun.

Tried getting on last night and did for about 15 minutes before it kicked me out due to some error. Wouldn't connect to their servers after that.

I bet that pissed a lot of people off. As excited as I was to play it I actually didn't care. I needed sleep. I'm too old to pull off playing all night and going to work on 2 hours of sleep.

Hope it works when i get home though

Yea I was up at 11pm thinking I could get in. The servers died for ALL Ubisoft games due to the server load the Division put on them. That was kind of funny.

Was finally able to get on around 12:15pm. Might have some more issues today if those people that gave up try to log in. Check the Twitch stream of the Devs playing the game and you can tell if it is up or not.

after a few hours lasntight, it worked fine. been fine today but only played for like 45 min today.

I bought it on the ps4 first. glad i did, people i was going to play with havent bought it yet on PC.
