**** Chiefsplanet Spring Meet & Greet @Q39*****

Sweet Daddy Williams will be visiting Kansas City at the end of March and wants to do a Chiefsplanet party. What better place than Q39? I'll post more details as they come along were looking to do this at the end of March either that Thursday the 27th or Friday 28th.

Post in here if you're interested in joining. I'll see what we have to do to reserve the meeting room if we get enough interest.

FRIDAY MARCH 28TH TIME: TDB

You guys still up there?

Its my fault for the shit turnout. I didn't promote this enough and I literally never had a date/time set. Sweet Daddy told me he wasn't coming at the last minute.

Sorry guys. Next time we'll do this I'll be sure to be more organized. Also doing it on a Saturday would help our out of town members.

This place has always been a little contentious, but it has gotten worse over the past several years. And I do not blame it all on the lack of getting together, I just think it is a key component of it all. And the new people not being invested in the community is a part of not coming out and participating. This newer generation just doesn't seem to care about it. It's better to stay hidden behind your screen and act cool and talk shit to strangers than to actually get out of the house and meet those people and find out who they really are.

Great time tonight. I got to meet and have beers with three Chiefsplaneteers, have some great BBQ, and somewhere along the way was held accountable for a comic strip I published more than a decade ago making fun of my now good friend Stevie Ray.

Happy Birthday, First Down Elvis. Glad we got to celebrate it with you.

Different parts of town, different activities (pool like you mentioned, Royals game, whatever). We just need to bring the sense of community back together that Stevie has been talking about tonight.
You typed this whole thing while we were drinking beers, didn't you?

Yes, I did. I had been thinking about it before we met up and then checked in to see if anyone else had said they were showing up and it just kind of happened.

You can't have a Planet get together with out checking in on the Planet at least once during said get together. I think it's in the bylaws some where.

Sneaky. I thought I was good at posting on Chiefsplanet while interacting with others, but you are the Jedi Master.

In 2008 I posted the plunger cam from Nzoner's bathroom. Not to brag but I think I set the standard for checking in from CP gatherings. My own job security concerns influenced me to delete the video from the now HoC thread, but those of you who saw the crystal plunger from the jetted tub and toilet phone report will hold those memories fondly in your minds.
