Burger King Thinks Mac N' Cheetos Is Something You Might Eat
Burger King Thinks Mac N' Cheetos Is Something You Might Eat
Burger King is out of control and doesn’t care who it hurts. Being tested in select markets and soon rolling out nationwide, Mac N’ Cheetos are deep-fried macaroni and cheese sticks with Cheetos breading. To put it in old, worn-out meme terms, they heard you liked cheese, so they put cheese in their cheese. Also macaroni. Whatever. They’re basically Burger King’s answer to Taco Bell’s Doritos Locos Tacos, born of a partnership between BK and Frito-Lay. Unlike the Doritos Locos Tacos, which have become a mainstay of Taco Bell’s menu, the Mac N’ Cheetos are a limited release, lasting eight weeks or while supplies last. That should give people plenty of time to make bad decisions. Speaking to Bloomberg, Burger King North American president (how can a king have a president?) Alex Macedo threatens that this will not be the last collaboration between fast food royalty and big snack chip. “We’re working on a few other menu items,” Macedo said. “There’s room for us to do more together in the future.”Snacktaku guess this means it will have to go to Burger King for the first time since those hot dogs came out earlier this year. http://kotaku.com/burger-king-thinks...ght-1782445853 |

I'm usually scared to go to Taco Bell but I was desperate and needed something cheap. I had 4 crunchy Tacos and a bean and cheese burrito with no onions, it was surprisingly edible.

They've had the Mexican Pizza for a very long time. I remember eating one in 1988-ish.

As far as I know they dropped them, reintroduced them as the Chilito (which weren't as good), then dropped them again.

A looooong time ago I was a Taco Bell employee and the people I worked with noticed that I ate quickly. There was one other guy at the store who also ate quickly. The manager challenged both of us to an eating contest. Whoever ate a Mexican Pizza the quickest got it for free. I accepted even though I had no money on me at all. I won. Less than 5 seconds, closer to 3. We allowed them to cool first.

If it helps, it's only pizza in the sense that it's roundish and flat-ish.
Don't think of a traditional pizza with Mexican toppings. Think more this;

And then when they started making the whopper hot dog? Once again, what was the development team thinking? "Let's take all of the ingredients we put on the Whopper, and put them on a lesser quality piece of meat. It will be brilliant!" My four year old could do a better job of developing foods. |

Nothing wrong with some Taco Smell once in a while, I usually get the steak soft tacos and a side of rice topped with cheese and onion

Damn. Taco Bell. Used to alternate between them and White Castle back in the day in Louisville. We used to watch them making refried beans in the front window. One large pot of beans, a hand drill with mixing attachment and they'd go for it.
Don't know how they do it these days - but they like to hide it I guess. I haven't eaten at a Bell in about 10 years.... |

I tried one of those a while back, and have to agree with whoever said in this thread earlier that the Doritos flavor kind of got in the way of the rest of it for me
But of course YOU'RE a piece of shit without the discerning tastes to recognize GOOD taco bell food from BAD |
