Ferrero Rocher
Starburst
Snickers (although I could go either way)
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (but I'd be just as happy with a Butterfinger)

It's so silly that peanut butter snickers is still chugging along. I'm confident that Starburst will do away with it, though.

My votes:

Midnight Dark Milky Way over Ferrero Rocher. I suspect that the FR is good, but I will always select a MDMW if given the choice of it versus something I don't know. MDMW is a proven big winner.

Starburst over Snickers Peanut Butter. Easy win for the Starburst here. The pink ones in particular. I love that first squishy bite.

Peanut M&Ms over Snickers. As mentioned in previous threads, I'm okay with Snickers but they don't wow me. Peanut M&Ms are something that should have evolved naturally as a means of spreading seeds, because every man and beast would devour them.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups over Butterfinger. If you have to ask, you've never had an RPBC. They're delicious and they don't drive you crazy afterwards trying to get them out of your teeth.

Looking at the contenders in this thread, a couple of things are becoming very clear:

CP prefers chocolate over other candies.

Peanut butter (and peanuts) and chocolate seem to be a match made in heaven.

I still believe that Snickers Peanut Butter is the worst of the Snickers variants, though.

Damn, man. You've never had Ferrero Rocher either? You really need to experience some of these other candies. Ferrero Rocher is unbelievable.

The popularity of peanut butter may be my biggest surprise in this tournament. I viewed it as more of a niche, but it's really kind of mainstream.

Ferrero: superior chocolate experience.

Snickers: I'm a goddamned adult and I eat chocolate.

Peanut M&M's: Snickers is a fine candy bar, but those M&M's are a double-threat; do I crunch down, or do I let melt in mouth and enjoy the chocolate residuals as I crunch the peanut?

RPBC: There can be only one.

I was in the store the other night, and I went looking for Whatchamacallit and Nutrageous, but my store didn't have them. Looking around, I saw Mike and Ike (Regular Flavor) and I've been really surprised at how well it's done in the tournament. I grabbed a box and headed for the counter with it, and then looked at the calorie count. My goodness. It was over 500 calories. I couldn't abide by that, so I put it back. What's in a Mike and Ike, anyway? I didn't realize that it was a lard-based candy.

Hahaha....it's straight sugar. I'm not sure how the calorie count would be much different than Starburst or Skittles per serving. That being said, it's good but it's inferior to both Starburst and Skittles, so you probably made the right choice to put it back.
