What is your stance on aliens?

I am curious to see where everyone stands on this. Asking about a stance on UFOs could be a different topic with different options so feel to give your thoughts on that as well.

This is from February...

...don't know if this was mentioned already. Thought it fit here and was interesting.

Scientists Discover Another Earth!

NASA’s Kepler Space Telescope recently discovered an Earth-like planet orbiting a nearby star within the habitable zone of our galaxy. Kepler-186f is approximately 500 light-years from Earth in the Cygnus constellation.

The habitable zone, also known as the Goldilocks zone, is the region around a star within which planetary-mass objects with sufficient atmospheric pressure can support liquid water at their surfaces. While it has been estimated that there are at least 40 billion Earth-sized planets orbiting in our Milky Way Galaxy, this particular discovery is labeled the first Earth-sized planet to be found in the habitable zone of another start.

All of you who put the distance dilemma as an end all road block to them getting here are highly underestimating what technology will eventually achieve if given enough time.
We are not going to break the laws of physics, but we will eventually find a way to bend them, or use them, to solve the problem.

There could be an infinite number of civilizations that did just that.....Millennia ago.

The Problem:
Nothing can travel faster than the speed of light.

Wrong.

Gravity from a black hole reaches deep into space and not even light can out run it's pursuit.

Do you know how much we know about Gravity??

Fn NOTHING.

To go a step further, scientists have proven that a Universe, filled with gravity, is excellerating in it's expansion, which means something, and they have proven that there actually is something doing this, is pushing everything apart.

Now. What can out run gravity, which can out run light?

We have no ****ing clue.

I watched the two videos about the animal mutilations and the interview with the retired Major George Filer. I'm sorry, but I didn't see anything in those videos that I would call convincing evidence that aliens from outer space mutilated the animals or were shot by the Air Force.

The interview with Major Filer certainly had some interesting moments, particularly the part where he talked about the alien from outer space that had been shot at Fort Dix. But he wasn't even saying this something he personally saw. He didn't witness the incident. He didn't see the alien. He was giving an account of what somebody else had told him they saw. Then he talked about some pictures he wasn't allowed to see. He didn't even see the pictures himself. His entire account was secondhand.

Claiming that a space alien was encountered is a pretty extraordinary claim. Extraordinary claims require a higher level of proof than this, at least for me.

I'm more interested in the mutliations. That experienced ranchers/veterinarians/law enforcement cannot explain the mutilations away by predators and/or scavengers. Nor can any trace of human interference be found. How else do you explain that?
