I mentioned in another thread... A few 30 for 30s bother me.... Ones with stories that are so obvious, it was overplayed. Biographies unless there was something extraordinary about it (sorry... Bo Jackson? Randy Moss? Those are nfl network Biographies, not 30 for 30s). And events so fresh in everyone's mind that the story is already well known. Anyway... With those biases clearly stated, what are...

30 for 30s we should see in the next few years because the story is still a little nostalgic?

This would actually be a really good 30 for 30. What I love about 30 for 30 is how they get people to care about stories they wouldn't usually care about. Think about the storylines. Worst team in football led by a supposed all star GM who was supposed to break a 30 year playoff drought. Fans criticized for cheering a QB getting yanked due to a concussion. Player commits suicide in the parking lot in front of the coach and GM... team almost considers not playing the game on Sunday -- lots of speculation that it may have ties to head injury. Fans orchestrate an impressive very highly visible campaign to oust the GM, and it actually works. I mean, all of these storylines by themselves are really unique and interesting.

This would never happen because Bill Simmons and ESPN have a hard-on for the Patriots. But it would make one hell of a documentary one day.

I would like to see a 30 for 30 about:

-The Boycotted 1980 Moscow Summer Olympics. Talk to the athletes about it. I am sure some of them are still pretty upset about it.

-The 1993 NFL Expansion. I am sure the NFL will put the kibosh on this one though.

-Futility U. KSU's winless streak and Bill Synder building the program.
