Pretty fantastic damned cover that really highlights that Ezra Koenig writes some damned fine lyrics:

Going old school. Saw an article on Paul, reminded me of how much I love this album and song. A refresher for the old 'uns, a primer for the young 'uns.

Loving this release. The dark, minimalist beats alone are worth it, but are complimented nicely by the beauty of her voice.

'Normal Person' is probably my favorite at the moment. It's a close second to Funeral in their discography for me right now. I don't know though. The more I listen to this, the more I think it might be their best yet. Last edited by Pablo; 10-31-2013 at 10:59 PM.. |

Something clicked last night though. I've listened to it three times since then. Easily bolted ahead of Neon Bible and The Suburbs for me. It's just so damn eclectic and enjoyable to listen to. |

I've only listened to it 1 more time since last time. Been listening to way more electronic/ambient/chill because I'm in the midst of grading a shit ton of papers (I have a hard time with lyrics/singing while grading). I need a good road trip to break it out on.
