Normal game has 12/13 possessions. Chiefs got 7 extra and offense only managed 10 points? That's awful
https://twitter.com/huthutdk/status/781058110542778368

This guy is a ****ing moron. The Chiefs had 9 offensive possessions.

Also, most of the turnovers came when the Chiefs already had a comfortable lead, and were running the clock out. Two of the turnovers were returned for TD's. Should've had 7 more on the board if it weren't for that fluky fumble out the endzone.

Was it a great, or even good offensive perfomance? No, but it wasn't nearly as bad as this biased pillowbitergot wants to pretend. I bet he didn't shit on any of the Broncos wins last year because of their inept offense, especially one they won by 20 ****ing points.

Pass pro is very hard to do, but easy to measure - maintain leverage for a minimum of 3 seconds.

Smith could maybe step up there and gain an extra second, but he is looking down the field past the line to gain, so rolling out right gives him a lot more options.
Yeah, step up in the pocket and hit your running back who doesn't have a guy in front of him for 10 yards.

This isn't hard.

Against edge rushers it's gonna be tough to keep leverage for that long so when your defender starts going wide, it's easier to ride him that way.

There's not one person in this entire thread that would say the offense hasn't been bad for the most part.

We're just confident it will get better as the season goes along like it has every year under Reid, and there's hope that come that time it will be as good as it's ever been under Reid. There's a difference between acknowledging the issue and overreacting and being doom and gloom about it.

I'm beginning to believe that there would be less anger on this board right now if we had actually lost to the Jets.

Hmmm, but the offense got worse last year, compared to 2013.

Perhaps the Chiefs are just hitting the beginning of a slow, terrible and painful decline and some are unwilling to admit it.

Shove your facepalm up your ass you condescending prick.

And there sure as **** are people in this thread that are denying the offense is bad. It's amazing that anything negative is an over reaction to you, even when it's supported by evidence, yet you feel your rosy "it'll get better because I just know it will" stance on everything somehow entitles you to talk down on everyone else.

Wait, did you just try to say the offense was better the year we had 0 TD's to WR's.

You have to be he dumbest mother****er on the planet.

Shut the **** up you whiny Clay loving bitch.

There are several reasons why I expect the offense to get better, and I've already stated them. Sounded like you went through this whole ****ing thread already, so my fault for assuming you already read them. Maybe you did and you're just talking out of your ass though, since that was what you were doing with your initial post.

The same way I didn't overreact to the epic comeback in week 1, I'm not overreacting to the negative bullshit either. You know why? Because I'm not a hypocrite. It's week ****ing 3, and it's a very long season.

more passing yards, more points per game....better offense...was better in the playoffs, too...I'm talking about 2013 though, 2014 was the no TDs to WR thing...and the start of our decline

I just realized you said 2013, and you're correct.

But...

2013 7th PPG (26.9)
2014 16th PPG (22.1)
2015 9th PPG (25.6)

The offense has been much better than those YPG stats indicate. Continue to cherry pick with those though.
