Normal game has 12/13 possessions. Chiefs got 7 extra and offense only managed 10 points? That's awful
https://twitter.com/huthutdk/status/781058110542778368

This guy is a ****ing moron. The Chiefs had 9 offensive possessions.

Also, most of the turnovers came when the Chiefs already had a comfortable lead, and were running the clock out. Two of the turnovers were returned for TD's. Should've had 7 more on the board if it weren't for that fluky fumble out the endzone.

Was it a great, or even good offensive perfomance? No, but it wasn't nearly as bad as this biased pillowbitergot wants to pretend. I bet he didn't shit on any of the Broncos wins last year because of their inept offense, especially one they won by 20 ****ing points.

If he's 32nd at the end of the regular season, then I'll concede. It's been 3 games with his number 1 wide receiver playing like a zombie after the death of his friend, behind now a different starting offensive line in each game against two of the strongest D's in the league.

This offense has so much talent.

Maclin=top 100 player. Legit pro bowl talent.
Kelce=pro bowl talent
Ware-legit top 5 RB so far---most yards from scrimmage entering last weeks game.
OL=solid
Conley=solid number 2 WR so far. Very reliable.

Why are we still struggling to score points?
You just changed the argument entirely.

Also, the OL has not been "solid" the past two weeks, and Maclin hasn't played well either.

If he doesn't leave the pocket then he gets clobbered at 2 seconds by Fisher's guy who beat Fish badly. Leaving the pocket to the right gave him an extra second of life. The wheel route doesn't open until after Fish gets beat and Smith is already on the move.

Now, had Smith stayed in the pocket he could have hit the wheel right at the line of scrimmage... throwing the ball 9 yards short of the line to gain on 3rd down. Something he gets ripped for constantly by fans, media critics etc. etc.

He was instead looking downfield (which everyone here keeps saying they want him to do) of which there was nothing open.

So scrambling at 3 seconds, sacked under 4 with nothing open in his line of sight. I'd have been running ladders on that play.

Ryan, Cutler, Tannehill, Stanford, and Cousins.

That sure is elite ****ING company.

The Packers should go ahead and trade Rodgers. He's clearly overrated.

Y/c doesn't seem like the beat stat here. Relies on YAC as well, right?

Exactly. And it also relies on the WR catching the ****ing football.

Hard for Smith's YPC to look good when Harris and Maclin are dropping balls thrown downfield.

YPC is more accurate than YPA because YPA can be skewed by drops.

Drops hurt the YPA statistic, but they aren't part of YPC since it only takes into consideration completed passes.
