I have drafted a response for Chiefsplanet review.

OK, well, let's talk about this.

1. I never received that e-mail. It's not in my inbox, spam or trash. Can you provide proof that you definitely e-mailed me notice of this? A screenshot?

2. I certainly never agreed to pay any check processing fees in the lease. Can you point out some other language in the lease that might cover that?

I'm going to need some legally binding reason to pay you any extra money beyond what is outlined in the lease. That's why I signed it.

Didn't you brag about how great your landlord was? Specifically you that he mowed your grass when you were too lazy to do it.

That was my old landlord. And yes, he was great. He never mowed, but he cleaned out all the wild growth once.

75th and Wornall is not the ghetto. No one in the ghetto pays $1500 rent.

He seems to get the ass reaming every month...explains his ficticious exploits he post here with names like "the MILF" More like the neighbors cocker spaniel.

He claims Waldo but only because he is in the subdivision but it's closer to the Paseo than Ward Parkway.

They have $1500 rental houses around 75th and Wornall? Not a horrible neighborhood, but $1500 is surprising. I figured more like $800-$1100 prices there. You need extra bedrooms for your Patrick Mahomes memorabilia and Alex Smith dartboards?

It's 1200 square feet with synthetic hardwoods, granite and all new appliances. About standard IMO.

You are worried about money but are a single guy and pay $1500 in rent? My mortgage is a decent amount cheaper than that.

I don't want to Dave Ramsey your ass but this is stupid!

I'm not worried about money. I'm just trying to stop this landlord from ****ing me on this. I ****ing hate this BS. Read the lease, chump.

I wouldn't be paying this much rent but sometimes you kick the GF out and get stuck with an albatross.

Holy shit, I was paying half that on my first house in KC on a 15 year mortgage.

There are all kinds of variables with rent vs buy, but a rent like that is kind of crazy for that housing market... I'd think the vast majority of people who can afford that should either buy or be renting for $500+ less in order to save for a down payment.

To answer your original question.... yes.

That's exactly what I should be doing.

Ask me about breakups and butt****ing two-year leases.
