Yeah, so I saw a lot of movies this weekend.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age - Mediocre, at best. Slow and dragged on. Shorten it to 2 hours and it's golden. It's not, so it fails.

Michael Clayton - Amazing. Everything about it is awesome. However, it's VERY complex and mind bending. You have to think, so be prepared. I still feel like I'm missing key details of exactly what happened. Gotta see it again.

Across the Universe - Perfect is one word that comes to mind. It just works. And, contrary to many people I bet, the movie is best viewed sober. Trust me.

I think I'm gonna go see The Losers at the Palace (cheap theater) tonight.

I finally got around to seeing Cool Hand Luke tonight. One classic that I haven't seen off my list. It was really enjoyable and damn I miss Paul Newman.

Rewatched "The Mist" tonight. That's one hell of a movie. I think I liked it more the second time around.

Very underrated.

I liked it. It's basically the A-Team. (Might be better than the A-Team movie... we'll see.)

Saw The Pianist tonight. Good but I couldn't stop thinking about Polanski being a pedophile the whole time.

Robin Hood: ★★☆☆☆
It's rare that a credit sequence is better than the movie itself. Move last 30 minutes to start & build from there.

I mean holy shit it was boring. I liked the casting of the posse though.

Watched Peince of Persia. It was pretty lame, but not terrible for "turn your brain off eye candy".

Watched Daybreakers. Sweet Jesus Dafoe's accent made Dicaprio's Blood Diamond sound authentic Rhodesian.

Watched Invictus last night.

If Sandra ****ing Bullock can win an Oscar for playing Leann Tuohy, then Morgan Freeman is a ****ing lock for playing Mandela. It was the role he was born to play, IMO.

The movie itself could have been better, but for me it was because as a casual follower of rugby, you knew exactly what was coming before you ever started watching the film.

Still, a solid watch, IMO.

I liked Freeman but Damon bored me and the story was slow and super boring.
