I love pulling these back up for future reference. Poll forthcoming.

For those of you joining Mr. Flopnuts in a couple Old Crows this evening this poll about Justin Houston. That's our six-year, $101 million dollar linebacker.

I'm expecting the defense to perform to its level and the offense to improve.

The team is obviously better with Houston than without but they're a damn good team, either way.

Midseason.

It's a 6-12 month recovery, so a normal recovery time is usually 9 months. Houston is "ahead of schedule", so I think an 8 1/2 month recovery is very realistic. Either week 8 or 9.

A healthy West, Maclin or Ware would have made a significant different in New England, even with three 2nd string offensive lineman and the absence of Houston last year.

Houston is a phenomenal player, no doubt, but if the Chiefs can play to their talent level this year, they're a damn good team.
