I just wanted to point out that you don't lease braces you buy them. I remember seeing where veterans back from iraq were using old braces for their dogs that were donated. The donators could get a tax write off 301b if they donated.

I never knew that, maybe it's not the same in Canada.
Not sure if the parents would even be thinking about that at a time like this. I have braces right now actually, and it will cost around $5,000 in the end. I'd say a decent amount of that money goes to the orthologist, so how much of a tax write off could used braces recieve? It probably wouldn't be worth the hassle especially when you just lost a son. But money is money. |

Yeah it isn't a big write off or anything but I would think it would be enough for the grieving family to go to Olive Garden.
