Chiefs Mystery flag durning Houston Game - Page 3

OK, so I was listening to Mitch and Kendall in the first quarter on my way home from church. There was a flag on a play, against Houston. They said 2 fouls on the play, one was illegal formation defense, the other was...taunting...

Now, all I could do was listen to Mitch try to sort it out, but the ref said the taunting call was "declined" and the Chiefs got a 5 yards awarded for the illegal formation, still 3rd down. Mitch and Kendall were like...wait, what? They said Andy went out on the field to get info from the refs. Then the ref came back on and said something that sounded snotty almost, like "the call was correct, it will be third down"...

Never heard and explanation for what the hell that was. Anybody got one?

I was sure this was wrong too, the taunting has nothing to do with the interception.
