Candylicious: Round 1, Heats 61 through 64
Here are the rules. This will be a head to head tournament. For efficiency's sake, I will run four heats in each thread.

Therefore, I will put up four pairs of candies. For each pair, you will identify the candy that you would most like to have at the moment of voting. It doesn't necessarily have to be your favorite candy overall, just the one that sounds good right now. For visualization purposes, you may assume that you're out trick or treating (dressed as a head of cabbage), and the woman at the door is offering you your choice of two options. You can only pick one, or if you would turn them both down, you can pick zero (not to be confused with the Zero bar).

So to summarize, you will vote for four candies in each thread, one candy per heat. And here they are!

Heat 61: Dum Dums versus Laffy Taffy




Heat 62: Milky Way versus Ghirardelli Squares (miscellaneous flavors)




Heat 63: Wowee Whistle versus Pearsons Salted Nut Roll

Laffy Taffy over Dum Dums - I'm not a fan of Laffy Taffy (the old Tangy Taffy was way better but no longer made). However, Dum Dums are the cheapest candy imaginable. I imagine that Dum Dums are made in some Chinese plant that uses cellulose and the least amount of flavor possible. Laffy Taffy by default.

Milky Way over Ghirardelli Squares. Wow, tough one. Both of these are great. Maybe I should pick Ghirardelli, but I like the thickness of the Milky Way tonight. I could go either way on this one.

Pearsons Salted Nut Roll over Wowee Whistle. I had to look up Wowee Whistle to see if it was candy. It looks like either cheese or plastic. I don't even know how to eat it. Meanwhile, the PSNR looks pretty tasty. Easy win for the nut roll.

Baci Perugina over Everlasting Gobstoppers. I'm always afraid that jawbreakers are going to break a tooth, and I can't handle that kind of stress. The Baci Perugina looks like it might have some concrete in it, but hey, it's chocolate and it won't break my teeth.

We've probably been over this. But I'm on candy overload. Not a huge fan of candy so I occasionally vote and rarely read the posts after it. But how many heats are in this tournament? Can't believe we ended up with more candy than hot female celebrities. Oh wait, yes I can.

I have a soft spot for Dum Dums. They remind me of childhood. But in the interest of the tournament rules, I'm more interested in Laffy Taffy at this moment.

Ghirardelli is FAR superior chocolate. Nuff said.

Don't care about either.

I can't tell what Baci is, and I dig Gobstoppers.
