Pampered Chef

There are a lot of people on here who enjoy cooking. Anyone use Pampered Chef? Message me if you're interested in ordering something (I'm currently hosting a Facebook party), and I'll shoot you a link. Otherwise, I am just curious in general...

Do you use any? If not, do you think it's just a "woman thing"?

I went through a Pampered Chef phase in the early 2000s. Their stuff is OK, but it's expensive. It's easy to find the same thing except better and cheaper elsewhere.

They carry spatulas and shit yes?

Seriously though, I think we had some pampered chef stuff like 15 years ago. It was good stuff, innovative, and useful. Thing is, at this point, someone has come up with the same stuff and it's less expensive

The parties to sell stuff is definitely a "woman thing." I can't think of a single thing that guys would even sell in such a manner. The Pampered Chef stuff is actually decent. I have a few gadgets that I've collected over the years and they all work well. I think the best one is the equivalent of the Slap Chop. I've had it for over 10 years and it still works great.

I went to a pampered chef party once to be nice and politely bought a few things (a dip mix, a seasoning mix, and a key lime cheeseball mix iirc). They were OK, but nothing I would have normally bought. It seemed like a woman thing to me.

I want something specific, and, if I get $200 in sales at my party, I can get what I want for free and pick up a little something else for little to no cost, too. My parents tried selling Amway once. Learned my lesson through them. I'll buy products from people like Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, etc., but no way will I get that involved with the company.

I did a couple parties 15 years ago for the same reason - I had no money, and it allowed me to pick up some decent cookware at little to no cost.

They sell a little more than spatulas, but yes. I hadn't bought anything in at least 15 years. The thing is, though, that I still use that same stuff a lot, and it all still works great. I love their stoneware. I still use my cookie sheet all the time. Back then, it came with a separate metal handle, but now it has the raised edges. I'm looking to simply update.
