Not at mine. The same old all powerful most popular click puts mine on...and most of them are always there. 'Cept maybe one or two that moved overseas and couldn't make it.

I didn't like it in college though when I would see people that I only had a extremely casual relationship with all the time, extremely often. I met so many different people at so many different places I could never remember them. That is when I learned I'm terrible with faces, names, and remembering anyone of anykind.

I don't mind, usually. Most of my old friends were part of a pretty close knit neighborhood group. One guy still holds us all together... It's pretty amazing

I've never had an unpleasant encounter with someone I hadn't seen in a while, but then I moved across the state so it doesn't happen a lot. But then I didn't leave many people in any social situation/setting with bad blood between us. If I did, most of them subsequently sequestered themselves to their trailer park.

I do think I'd end up hyperventilating if I ran into my ex GF of 5 years, so there's one.

I don't mind if people forget my name when I have remembered theirs. My memory is terrifyingly good. I know most people don't have that so I don't take it personally that someone forgot my name. I don't have what Marilu Henner has with the remembering every single detail of every day, but I don't forget people that I had a significant amount of interaction with ever. I forget people I met once or twice for a little while, but sometimes go into recall mode where a bunch of people show up in my memory again all of the sudden.

There have been a couple of times when I have not recognized someone immediately, but I had never forgotten them, they just didn't have a beard and moustache the last time I saw them in the third grade or lost a huge amount of weight or something to make the recognition harder.

Everybody's memory is different. I don't do anything to remember well. It just happens. There is nothing personal about whether you remember or not. I hope I don't make people uncomfortable when I run into them. I always assume they won't remember me, and start the conversation from that perspective.

Overwhelmingly no. It almost always becomes quickly and painfully clear why I stopped hanging out with them in the first place.
