Justice League (2017)

Movie is meh. I will give it a 6/10. I will probably forget most of the memorable stuff by next week. They just have no idea how to do good comic book movies.

Avoid the critics, avoid Rotten Tomatoes and avoid any internet nonsense.

The movie was really, really enjoyable and I didn't find it too short, whatsoever.

I dig the look and production of these DC comics because they're very "stylized", which is obviously very different than Marvel but I personally prefer the DC movies to the Marvel films overall.

The only issue I had with the film was (read at your own risk):

Don't believe that Whedon's addition changed only 15-20 %of the overall film. It was certainly much closer to the 50-60% I reported back in early August.

Every single scene with Superman was a reshoot and the CGI to remove his mustache was awful. It was so weird and distracting. His upper lip look like they smeared vasoline on it, like in the original Star Wars film where there was vasoline smeared under Luke's speeder to make it appear as if it was floating.

Really, really bad VFX, especially in 2017

I think anyone who doesn't like Justice League has or had a prenotion not to like it and no matter wasn't going like it even subconscious.

I still love Man of Steel. Id love to know how much involvement Nolan had, because its worlds better than BvS

I def avoided critics but saw the RT score cause friends texted it...def does not deserve it. It should be much higher imo...glad you enjoyed it too!

Haven't seen this yet & probably won't in theaters but I did read that there is a post credits scene. If true, what exactly was featured in that scene? thanks in advance!

What’s the first movie with an extra scene post-credits?

I know Ferris Buehller and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles both had then, though too lazy at the moment to figure which was first or if there were others...

'87 and '86 respectively. Young Sherlock Holmes had one in '85. That's the first one I've ever seen.

Yes, there is going to be a lot of talk about what went wrong with the opening weekend reception of Justice League, and at least some of the blame lies with the poor reception of Man of Steel and Batman v Superman, as well as the lackluster reviews and the choice to make the film into some de-facto copy of The Avengers. But there is one odd factor that deserves a moment of discussion, and that is how Rotten Tomatoes, and the media in covering Rotten Tomatoes, black-flagged the WB release just before the release date.
