Not to hijack - but I just bought Starcraft II and have been playing the shit out of it. Can't wait for the 3rd one to drop in a few days.

I think this movie can safely count on at least 10 million people seeing. It'll probably be way more than that. 10 million people is like, what, $150,000,000 box office?

No. Thrall is the little green baby orc you see in the trailer. There's going to be tons of little easter eggs like that to satisfy the Warcraft nerds.

Some orcs are brown, others are green. Different Orc tribes. There's a reason some tribes are green and some are brown, however i'm not nerd enough to know the lore behind that.

Thrall is just a baby in the trailers, the main orcs will be Durotan (Thrall's dad), Orgrim Doomhammer (both seen in the trailer a few times) and Draka (Thralls mom). I'm not a fan of the size of the orcs, its like the Michael Bay Ninja Turtles where its just too much, bigger than humans? Sure. That big? No, it makes it seem like the humans have no chance against orcs that can easily take hits and rip them apart.

If you want to watch some YouTubers who're lore experts, there are lots out there, but the most detailed is Nobbel87. His accent isn't for everyone, but his thoroughness and love for the lore is really good.

That's good information. Thank you. I watched like 3 hours of Game of Thrones lore on YouTube a few weeks back so I'll check this out.

I read a Warcraft trilogy back when I was in high school. One of the books focused on Thrall. I remember his master mistreating him, the girl helping him escape (and subsequently being killed by the master), and I remember Grom Hellscream and Orgrim Doomhammer because they're awesome ****ing names.

I want to say Thrall found a clan and became a shaman or some shit. He was a beast in battle, he could read, he was compassionate, and he practiced magic.

He was basically the perfect Orc.

Orcs become green when exposed to fel magic. It's genetic so it is passed down to their offspring.

I want to see this movie do well just because i want to see an Arthas/Forsaken movie. IMO, that's the best story line for a movie. But it's so far down the Lore tree that it'd have to be movie #3.
