We were all shocked that Berry is practicing and playing in game 1 after defeating cancer in 8 months so I wouldn't put it past Poe to come back game 1

Absolutely no chance of that.

If you have ever known anyone that has had herniated disc surgery, just ask them...The Chiefs know better than to count on a significant contribution from Dontari this season. Better that it happened now rather than later because it allows for some type of real alternate plan.

Just when I was feeling good about the season. This D will suck without Poe.

No Poe no Playoffs.

he had a herniated disk removed in July and it's a 3 month minimum recovery, so...if they let him play the opener, they are risking his long term health.

I would rather him miss the whole year than play game 1.

Looks like they are having Kelce carry a football around and teammates are trying to punch it out. Like that he's working on that.

@superdj56: I guess big dog @tkelce is ready, lol Imma have to try this again when we get on the field.… https://t.co/RViSyzNdtx

well tech. in many games when chiefs were behind a score or two.. alex started letting it fly.. broncos game is a prime example.. dude needs to do it at least three qtrs in comparison to one... maclin might be the guy that does it for him.

Eric Berry has had 8 months. Dontari Poe had surgery like a week ago on his back.

He's not playing week 1

JUST ASK ANYBODY WHO'S HAD HERNIATED DISK SURGERY!!!!!

Uh, sure, but Poe is an athlete, and those guys are fat**** plumbers.

They said all of preseason and possibly 3 months from the time of the surgery. Mid-July to mid-October. He'll miss 4-5 games.

We're going to be fine.

If they had to remove the entire disc he won't play this season. Hopefully Teicher's description of the surgery is incorrect.
