You know what I hate: This mantra.

It's the same as "English Literature hasn't been the same since Shakespeare. There's plenty of good films and good books since the "golden age" of each realm. It's just stupid to assert otherwise.

This will be a great movie assuming it follows the Dark Knight storyline....older Bruce Wayne hs been retired - crime is rising - decides to come back....that stuff.....and for once I agree with Goatse - there are a TON of good Batman storylines out there - as well as any other superhero...

Batman Begins was a FANTASTIC film. Loaded with great character actors, terrific storyline, well-written, typical Bat-Toys for Bruce Wayne to use, to create his symbol........Heath Ledger will carry the tradition a step further, it'll be incredible.......
