2015 Fantasy Discussion

Drafts coming up in a couple weeks, and I haven't seen a thread yet.

Was wanting to get some input overrated players/sleepers/strategies etc.

I've been going back and forth on what I want to do with my 2nd rounder. I've done a few mocks, and I really want to take Luck in the 2nd.. but I just can't seem to get as good of a team that route.

Also for the later 1st round who do you take out of CJ Anderson, Jeremy Hill, and Demarco Murray? To me its between Murray and CJ.. Leaning towards Murray. I don't think there will be a huge dropoff for him this year like everyone else seems to think

Not a huge sleeper, but I've been taking Jordan Matthews in just about every mock. I think he is going to have a HUGE year and he will be great value. Even Agholor should be a good late pick. Also Martavis Bryant. I think they finally found the guy to take some pressure off of Antonio Brown. Lastly I like Ameer Abdullah.. he should be a great fit in that offense, and I saw that Bell is going to start the season on the PUP

Highest scoring team in the league. Started off the year with Rivers, LeVeon Bell, Justin Forsett and Davante Adams as my starters. Injuries and busts have murdered my team. I finished the season by losing 3 straight.
At least u have some good matchups except maybe for Julio. That's one of those no name teams that could put up big points. I lost to a team like that this year.

Also, I MADE THE ****ING PLAYOFFS BITCHES.

Put up 216 points on the then-#3 team, and had one of two other matches fall the way I needed to get in as the sixth seed.

In the other league where running backs are worth more the gold (allegedly) in Fort Knox I've won 4 out of the last six or something stupid because I waiver claimed Amendola and had the forsight to get Buck Allen before Forsett got injured.

Fantasy football is a fickle bitch.

Highest scoring team in the league....started off 8-2. Lost Bell. Lost Forsett. Davante Adams ****ing busted. Lost the last 4 games going into the playoffs and just got beat in the 1st round....didn't even break 100 points.

I hear ya. Made it to the playoffs for the first time, but I have to hope Odell and the Giants D don't combine for 27 points.

So I'm one and done.

RB disaster unit, so far I have lost Bell, Lynch, Rawls and possibly J Stewart for this week and still managed to put up a decent lead in week one of a two week playoff. Rate the following waiver wire RBs:

Hightower, B Powell, D Robinson, Dujan Harris, Fozzy Whitaker. That is currently the waiver priority I have them in.

Ok I made the playoffs in my dynasty league. Had Charles who we all know is gone. Trade my first pick for Lacy. So my RB really are Lacy,L.Murray and Ryan Mathews. Wr I have A.Brown,Jeffries, Watkins and Jordan Mathews. I was offered Lamar Miller for Michael Floyd, Murray and my second round pick. Do I pull the trigger?

Not if you want to win this year. This trade makes you worse at RB and you would not start Floyd with the WRs you already have. Is a second round pick worth significantly worsening your team in the playoffs?

So you're saying that Murray is better than Miller??

Every year I make it to final 4 of 12 team league. And every year week 15 I have horrible matchups. I've been switching off between Eli and Mariota but they face #1 and #3 defenses this week. Would have picked up Alex Smith but somehow was taken. Picked up Osweiler vs steelers. Leaning towards Mariota even though I'm playing vs odell Beckham.

What say you?

BTW, remaining 4 QB starters in our league? Brady, Cam, Mariota, Fitzpatrick.

My team won round one easily as the #2 seed. i rarely make changes as my buddy controls my team. He thinks Palmer will outscore Newton this week. I'm on to the final four. Our two QB's are:

Cam Newton @ NYG
Carson Palmer @ PHIL

Who do you choose?
