The Noah Wyle movie? Yeah, that was horrible. Was like a crappy SciFi channel flick. Had no idea they turned that into a show. Yuck. Last Ship is much better. Not great TV, but fun.

Anybody still watching? I still enjoy this show. Pretty decent season. Sucks we gotta wait until next summer.

I'm really curious where they are going with it from here now that it becomes a land endeavor.

They could pretty easily move forward in time if they wanted to.
I think what so many people are complaining about is exactly what I like about it - it's just empty calorie TV for a Sunday night. I'm a GOT fan, sure - a book reader and all that. Moral ambiguity makes for gripping storytelling and a great television show. But not ALL television needs to be full of it. This is a throwback show. It's 'guys with accents are bad guys and guys with the stars and stripes on their chests are good guys' - period. For a bit of a palate cleanser, I absolutely love that. The action is better than I'd have expected for a TNT show. It really does have a good cast. Surprisingly, I find myself really liking Chandler. It has Duck from Mad Men! Rhona's always nice to look at. As a fan of Burn Notice, I really like Tex. It's full of cliches and continuity errors but Jesus, just how much prestige television do you need? It's a fun show that improved in season 2; I'm looking forward to season 3.
