It took my son playing it in HS for me to understand it. Now he is choosing soccer over football at the next level.

Go ask regular Joe Sportsfan if he can name 10 professional MLS players off the top of his head. Bet a large majority of them can't do it....most probably couldn't even come close.

You can pretty much do it w/ ease in every other major professional sport.

I don't know about that. I enjoyed the SKC game the other night. I think soccer much like baseball (outside of the playoffs) is much better live than on TV.

They hate Seattle. Whew. Between the sound record, and their disdain for Seattle soccer fans, you definitely can't root for both. I do, but I have ties to both areas. Regardless, I think it's cool you're getting into soccer. I hated it as a kid, but I love it as an adult.
