I'm In the Gutter....

Or I should say "I'm Into the Gutters." Having my roof replaced next week, and want to replace current old guttersw with new gutters with the shield tops (gutter gard) to keep leaves and stuff from getting inside.

Anybody here had recent experience with any KC vendors? Good or bad experience? I'm all ears, sending out for quotes next week.

I know many of you have been up close and personal with gutters at one time or another....

Who should I trust my sludgy rain water to?

Do you want an all in one system or does it matter as long as you have the gutter helmets

I've considered both options. The Gutter Helmet system won't work for my new roof, because it will poke holes in the snow/ice sheath and void the warranty.

The gutter helmets shouldn't be installed on the roof with nails. They go under the shingle and on top of the starter row and then screw onto the front of the gutters. The shingle will seal to the gutter helmet.

Easy payback: have 3 or 4 of your local best friends get estimates from that douche with NO intention of getting gutter guards.

Waste 2-3 hours of his time.

Nope. That's not the way it works. I screws into the roof line.

Roofer guys dropped a pallet of shingles and the underlay stuff on Friday afternoon. The big tear down is tomorrow. I'm sure the kitties are gonna love that.
