Should've had at least 2 more sacks. Phantom holding and Murray being the most useless sack of shit since Kendrick Lewis.

PFF said Ford had a pretty good day. Several pressures and a couple QB hits or something like that.

I’d like to know on how many of those pass attempts were we only sending 3 pass rushers. That played into it l, a lot.
In the 2nd half, when they blitzed or at least sent 4, pressure was for more common and it showed with Ben’s inaccuracies. |

We don’t need a “SB caliber defense” with the best offense in the league. We just need a defense that can get key stops and this defense is already showing they can do that against two of the best offenses in the league, so why wouldn’t it continue with Berry?

Ford would have had a sack on a play where he exploded around the OT and the OT's reaction was to reach out and hook the **** out of him...no call.

well, replacing the single worst defender with a perennial all-pro would help you'd think. Let's hope Berry is still Berry.

The first thing is putting pressure on the QB. BTW, it is nice to have Berry back soon but I expect a major injury or injuries to come soon, just like every year. So, you might be getting a good one back but losing another good one. |

It’s the same principle that allows game manager QBs to occasionally win a SB like Dilfer. If you have an all-time elite unit on any one side of the ball, then your other unit, offense or defense, doesn’t have to be nearly as good to win big. If the Chiefs end up having an all-time great offense, history says that they’ll probably at least reach the AFC Championship game and maybe further. |
