Predict a non-1st round draft pick for KC.

Harder to do than it normally would, because we haven't seen these guys in action yet.

Who do you think the Chiefs will draft? One rule: no 1st rounders.

My first guess is not exactly an original one: QB Tyler Wilson, Arkansas.

I look forward to the draft all year and I never come close to getting the Chief's picks right. Hope the rumors about a trade up by Miami are true.

Jalil Brown
Jon Baldwin
Ricky Stanzi
Tony Moeaki
Jerrell Powe

Shit, Moeaki might be the only one of those still on the team next year...and that's if he stays healthy. Doing so in 2013 would go a long way towards putting the injury prone label to bed for this player.
Brown is one of, if not the, best special teams player on the team not named Colquitt. He's got a real knack for finding the ball on return coverage. He might not be starter CB material (yet), but he contributes.

Powe was substantially better than Poe in the preseason, but Peeholi was going to force feed this team his project come hell or high water. I wouldn't be too surprised to see a lot of the 46 this next season under Sutton with Powe at the true nose and Poe off the left side at the DE spot.

(In fact, with Sutton familiar with the 46, I think he's going to be very happy with the personnel on this roster in terms of implementing it, e.g. Berry, Poe, Powe, Houston, Allen, Johnson, etc. are damn near perfect to run the 46.)

Stanzi was a very good pick for a flyer on the QB position. You've got to take those type of guys about every other draft so as to find that veritable "diamond in the rough." Sometimes they work out and you get yourself a Brady or Hasselbeck, sometimes they don't.

Moeaki was a stupid as hell pick from the standpoint that we traded up just eight spots to pick him when Dennis Pitta, Aaron Hernandez and Tony Moeaki were all on the board. Pitta was the starting TE for the Super Bowl champs and looked the part and Hernandez is a stud. Moeaki has turned out to be who he was - a very talented receiver and blocker who has knees made out of balsa wood and thread.

Baldwin was a pure need pick as, at the time, we didn't have anyone on the roster behind Bowe. However, somebody should have done their homework in the scouting department and look harder at his college tape and noticed that for all his amazing physical gifts, the guy can't separate off the line from CBs. He probably should be utilized as the TE rather than split out wide.

I'm not sure, but I believe he's LDS. Other than Jim McMahon's of the world, most of the guys who go to BYU usually are.

Ezekiel Ansah would be a slam freaking dunk in that case, being from BYU and all.

Oh JFC.

Look at the QBs that Reid has drafted or signed through the years.

McNabb, Feely, Garcia, Kolb, Vick.

What do any of these guys have in common with Jones?

That's not an argument for Bray being more likely.
