Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.


Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?



Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Yes, you can cut .224 brass down to use as .300 backout brass.

About how much per round was .17 HMR before people went crazy? I was thinking about getting one instead of a .22LR.

It really hasn't been affected. its the one type of ammo I have no probs finding.
12 bucks is what im paying here in Omaha at the local Walmart. Savage or Marlin in 17 HMR are excellent rifles. I give a lil more nod towards the Savage 93-R17 for its fit & finish & the adjustable trigger. You will like this round

At long last I got smart and purchased an AR instead of a handgun (I'm just a handgun guy, what can I say?). My new CMMG MK-4 in 5.56. A non-standard chrome lined Sig barrel and flash suppressor.

Oh to get that truck paid off in a month and start sexing this baby up.....

Hopefully the iPad doesn't turn this pic upside down like a couple of previous photos.
