I actually like the concept. I'm sure that several years will have passed, so they'll have a new POTUS, new military commanders, etc.
Having Will Smith in the sequel would mean that he "saves the day", once again, which would be boring. That said, I have little faith that Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich are capable of making a good, compelling film. |
