Exactly , they filmed 10 hours and they got about 1 minute of one black dude following her and another minute of people saying hi...

If she simply smiled back at people and said thanks or said 'not interested' they might have had to edit down to about 15 seconds

She could have said "no thanks" or "not interested" or "sorry I'm taken" and if the guys still didn't leave her alone, a case could be made for "harassment" perhaps. But they couldn't even get that to happen apparently, so **** this video. It's stupid. Reading the youtube comments makes me weep for society. As they usually do...

I don't think we are going to agree on that line, but I do understand what you are saying. I also went to rewatch the video in case I was being overly sensitive, and that they really were just saying hi, but they are not. One guy the whole time says a simple hello, and oddly the nicest greeting is the how are you today, god bless you from the guy who then follows her for five minutes so I'm not sure what to think of that one. The rest of them are exclaiming in some way that she is attractive.

I don't think anyone has a right to not be spoken to, nor do I want to walk around like robots not acknowledging one another, but having a general understanding of how your comments are actually being perceived can help an individual decide how they choose to behave on a public street. There are alot of these videos and also articles trying to give some perspective. It is good to have these conversations. Wouldn't you like to know that a woman you approached out of the blue could believe you were sincere and take you seriously when you want to ask her out instead of considering your compliment in the context of a barrage of noise she has to endure while simply going about her day?

First one, right out of the Chute - "How you doin' today" - 14 seconds
Second one, part of that first talk, from a different person - "Smile" - 17 seconds
Little later - "Hey, what's up Girl, how you doin" - 21-23 seconds
Little later - "How are you this morning" - 38 seconds
Little later - "Have a nice evening" - 40 seconds


So, within the first 40 seconds, you've got 5 examples that show you to be full of it.

We've existed as a society for how long, and now it seems is the time where people want to have these conversations. People are overly sensitive to the most mundane, typical stuff now for whatever reason. Attractive women get comments all the time, and that's never going to change. Of course a lot of those men have sex on the brain. That's just nature. It doesn't mean she's gonna get raped or assaulted.

I really just don't see what the problem is. She isn't being harmed. Attractive women are gonna get annoying comments. But big deal. Attractive women also tend to get benefits from being attractive so I'd say the pros outweigh the cons.
