USA Today Has Chiefs At #24 In NFL Power Rankings

Just 2 places behind the Jaguars in fact.

But I gotta be honest...I kinda like it let em sleep on us

He needs some transcendent playoff wins to get into the Hall.

Don't hold your breath.

Also, the Chiefs should run Davis more than Charles on 3rd downs. I'd like to see JC used in the slot more this year as well. Keep him from getting hit in the middle of the field.

On the most important down?

Just mix it up more. Easy fix.

That would be nice, but at this point it's gotta be more about having a lengthy career.

AT LEAST 4 more seasons of high quality play (1000+ rushing yards, a lot of receiving yards, maintain that absurd YPC average through all of it) will get him in, I think.

Marshawn Lynch has those transcendent playoff games, and I kind of doubt he's going to the HOF unless he also continues to play 4 or 5 more years with seasons similar to the production rate he currently has.

I think so too. In the end Denver should hold KC and SD off, but the race could still be on till week 14, 15.

Denvers championship window is over, Peyton gets a little worse every year but again still probably good enough to hold off Chiefs/Chargers for now.

Chiefs can slip into playoffs with similar season/record as last year. Until proven otherwise hard to see this team making any noise. The D just isnt good enough to compensate for a conservative small ball offense/QB that relies on playing mistake free football. You need a pair an O like this one with a top D to be taken serious, but one and done's are possible.
