If we lose to Denver, Carolina and Indy...

It will be the first time in franchise history that we go winless at home.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/page/...hefter-10-spot

Quote:
A quarterback drafted by Kansas City hasn't started and won a game for the Chiefs in more than 25 years. Kansas City must now face three quarterbacks drafted No. 1 overall in an attempt to avoid going winless at home for the season for the first time in franchise history.

The Chiefs have lost six straight home games dating to last season and are 0-5 at home this season. Kansas City's next home game will be Sunday against Manning and the Broncos, followed by a Dec. 2 matchup versus former No. 1 overall pick Cam Newton and the Panthers, and then a Dec. 23 meeting versus former No. 1 overall pick Andrew Luck and the Colts.

These are dreary times in Kansas City, where the Chiefs are 1-9 and tied with the 1987 and 2008 teams for the worst start in franchise history. The last time the Chiefs were this bad they fired Herm Edwards after the season and replaced him with general manager Scott Pioli and head coach Todd Haley. Now the fans in Kansas City are clamoring for more change, and owner Clark Hunt is said to be "evaluating" his entire operation.
That last sentence is intriguing.

I could see them falling ass backwards into a win against Cleveland. You just never know in the NFL.

But I'm not worried about them losing the 1st pick. Especially with Henne starting over Gabbert in Jacksonville.

No one can lay down lower than us. Our effort in that regard is astounding.

With us finishing the year against 3 first overall pick quarterbacks, the football Gods are "parting the oceans" for us.

They are forcing us to get destroyed by the very likes of the quality of player we will have the opportunity to draft in April that will lift this franchise to levels we haven't seen for over 40 years.

PLEASE GODS, DON'T LET US **** THIS UP.

Don't worry. They will blow it badly.

I am evaluating my business too. Any good business person constantly evaluates the business, and looks for ways to improve. It't called being competitive. Great "source". The sky is blue(sources).

Either way Pioli set this team back at least another 2 years after he's gone, even IF they draft a #1 QB. That's the saddest part. His draft decisions, the results of his ego, and his decision to let quality players walk will be here long after he's fired.

I'm not so sure. Look at what is happening in Indianapolis. They could possibly be in the playoffs this year... after losing several decent players such as Clark and Garcon... and adding a QB.

Geno Smith to this team could have us right back in the picture pretty fast.

IMO, the biggest thing that went wrong this season was Pioli forcing Cassel back on this team when it was pretty clear most of the players and coaches were on the Orton bandwagon late last season. That decision by Pioli did far more damage than any other decision he made... including the CB things.

thats what it takes though, a huge roster turnover like Indy. A new regime would have to cut all of Scott Pioli's shit talent and replace with something resembling real talent and hope for the best.
