Depending on how fireworks season goes I'll be more than ready for my 2nd trip to Vegas of the year especially with NFL betting.I don't normally take the mrs. but this she's been wanting to go back so I might surprise her with a trip.

Booking our trip to Las Vegas this evening through Allegiant. September 12-16.
We're staying at Harrah's. ~$400/person. Just a few weeks ago it was ~$340/person. Damn us for waiting! |

shit! I waited for my tix from allegiant too. They were $55 to Vegas and $65 back home and at the time I wasn't sure if my friends could go and now its confirmed I bought my tix at $110 each. Still can't complain, but would've saved a hell of a lot. I'll be headed down next week.

But, we've got the money saved now (as do my parents). So we are buying them now, rather than spending the money we had saved. |

Harrah's is a good location too - pretty central. The rooms were nothing special - on par with a Holiday Inn Express - but were clean and a cheap place to sleep. |

I'm getting married there in a week and a half, but am unsure of what the total costs have been so far.

here's what you do. there's a balcony above Prime at the Bellagio. You can ask Bellagio to play a song that goes with the fountains. Pick Andrea Bocelli - Por ti volare and go out to that balcony and when they cue the music for the fountain pop the question. The balcony is usually roped off from public so its you and your girl. I sit out there when I eat at Prime and its the best view of the fountains and I see people cry all the time out there. It gets you in a way. Here's a view of from the restaurant and the balcony I'm talking about is literally above this dining area.
a better view of the balcony in this vid. it shows it right in the beginning. |
