The Hard-Thinking, Well-Considered WalterFootball mock.

This is literally the players he currently has us taking in rounds 1 through 3, and the explanations he's included with each.

Quote:
21. Kansas City Chiefs: Jaelen Strong, WR, Arizona State
The Chiefs need help at wideout. Dwayne Bowe is just a No. 2 receiver masquerading as a top target, while none of the other receivers are very skilled. The Chiefs might be regretting passing on Kelvin Benjamin.
Quote:
53. Kansas City Chiefs: Carl Davis, DE/DT, Iowa
The Chiefs aren't particularly strong up front, outside of Dontari Poe. They never properly replaced Tyson Jackson.
Quote:
85. Kansas City Chiefs: Justin Hardy, WR, East Carolina
The Chiefs need help at wideout. Dwayne Bowe is just a No. 2 receiver masquerading as a top target, while none of the other receivers are very skilled. The Chiefs might be regretting passing on Kelvin Benjamin.
In no way is this man phoning it the **** in.

Don't worry....in a couple of months he'll start having us take an OT in the 1st and an OG in the 2nd because "our o-line" is horrible.

He did a couple weeks ago last time I checked.

Yep, you guessed it. "Remember who's calling the shots in Kansas City..."

Scott Wright mocked an Iowa tackle to Pioli and co. in ATL. That cracked me up.

Say what you want about this guy, but he probably has more traffic on his page than any non major sports media.

I don't necessarily agree with his picks but he is right on bowe. That 3rd round said that back when he had us taking a guard in the first, maybe he hasn't updated round 3 yet.

I don't like the 1st or 3rd picks, I think taking two receivers int he top 3 rounds for us is a total waste unless somebody we want slips. I like the Davis pick. This has absolutely got to be a "big guy" and "defense first" draft for us. Use that #1 or #2 on the WR of our choice if he's there, then hammer home on the CB's, Linebackers, and Oline/Dline prospects.

Waltermock continued:

117. Sumyung Guy, WR, Tuscaloooooza
The Chiefs need help at wideout. Dwayne Bowe is just a No. 2 receiver masquerading as a top target, while none of the other receivers are very skilled. The Chiefs might be regretting passing on Kelvin Benjamin.

149. Jadavairus Greenwoodpecker, OT, Mississississippipppi St.

Yep... I would not bitch about the one he has out right now one bit.

1. WR DeVante Parker - Louisville
2. DE/DT Carl Davis - Iowa
3. OT Sean Hickey - Syracuse

I like all 3 players a bunch, especially 1 and 3.
