Chiefs trade (Arenas) for...wait for it...a FB?
Chiefs acquired FB Anthony Sherman from the Chiefs...er Cardinals.
New Cards head coach Bruce Arians has no room for plodding fullbacks in his aggressive, vertical offense. So Sherman heads to Andy Reid's West Coast scheme as Jamaal Charles' lead blocker. The 2011 fifth-rounder graded out 20th among 25 qualifying fullbacks in Pro Football Focus' rankings last season. May 1 - 12:11 PM

Disappointing that we gave up Arenas. This is the first head-scratching decision I have seen from the front-office though.

Every CB on the roster aside from Flowers is 6 feet or taller. It's apparent they want big, physical CBs. And let's be honest, did Arenas ever impress you as a returner after being highly touted as one?

Arenas had limited value no matter what he was traded for. I'm guessing he might have been waived outright given the influx of better and BIGGER DBs.

This trade isn't significant enough to generate 41+ pages of angst, is it? It's not going to make or break anything.
