I just hope the additional bodies translates into a serviceable line so the additional skill postion weapons have a chance to do their damage.
There is sooo much young potential and genuine depth on this team right now, so many guys getting ready to take that big year one to year two step, so many other factors like Catapano, the RT competition even without the draft, Doc Tardiff and Fulton competing at guard, Wilson at receiver, Harris at tight end, DJ's return, the signing of Branch etc to figure in...its very exciting.

Sure, the what ifs are strong on that short list... but if even half make the expected progress, that's a huge boost... and we haven't even had the draft with those 10! freakin picks yet.

This team is going to have REAL depth this year.

The "down on their luck" fans can wallow in their misery if they want, but many of us recognize real growth when we see it.

Son, Aretha doesn't open for anyone. She is a vocal Goddess. Diana Ross wouldn't make the same bill as Aretha.

Oh, I understood. I was pointing out the flaw in his analogy.

Had E6 reversed Diana Ross and Aretha... I wouldn't have had reason to post in this thread.

His analogy was saying there is no way knile should be a backup.

I don't think he meant one was Aretha and one was Ross. But I could be wrong

You're both right, it was just a little power vs finesse comparison... Aretha opens for no one, of course.

He was even blocking downfield on offense quite a bit on one of the videos, might have been knile's.
