CHIEFS GAME MOVED TO LA!

NFL officials just confirmed as well. Like the idea of proceeds going to help fire victims, including first responders. Maybe encourage fans to bring necessities to game for donations, à la Harvesters. So much for training in Denver, Coach McVay.

This was the early line on at least a couple of sites that I saw.
(Sorry, I tried to post a link to the SI.com site showing the opening line at -1, but Chiefs Planet won’t let me post a link as a newbie)

And yes, I saw that the line was -2.5 yesterday. But the talks of moving the game to LA were already out there. Anyway, if we lose by one point I’ll be pissed.

It's so sad that the NFL shocked them by scheduling a football game a year ago and requiring that they have a football field to accommodate it.

Will this short ticket buying window allow us to get the "home field advantage" that other teams have enjoyed against the Rams (similar to our "home field advantage" vs. the Chargers).

Then they should have provided a safe playing field... i.e. one of the most basic requirements to host an NFL game (or any sporting event).

Also apparently people in Mexico City were initially complaining to the NFL about the Rams-Chiefs match-up (before they knew they were getting two 9-1 teams), because the Rams/Chiefs don't have significant fanbases in Mexico.

Hopefully that third world shitfest never gets an NFL game again.

Their growth shouldn't be at the expense of season ticket holders, local businesses and regular fans.

Of course, Roger just sees that as a little people issue.

They’re on our continent and we share a border. I like the idea. Stuff like this helps develop some shared culture and shows some unity. It’s just a shame they had to **** it up.

Enter Mahomes.

Do you remember how Steve Finley crushed the hopes of the Yankees shortly after 9/11 in Game 7 of the World Series?

Blimey, you’re right

Mexico should just get a Dallas home game every year.
