Seems about right to me. I'd be inclined to take the over (homervision FTW), but can see this team finishing anywhere from 8-10 wins...

8-8 or worse to lose.

Would be a much tougher choice at 9.5 instead of 9.

If I was going to bet it, I would definitely take the over. 8 or less just seems a bit low for a playoff team getting JC back. Yes, no Houston but it's not as if he was around most of the second half last year anyway.

For as much as I love sports betting, I hate taking action on win totals. Something about not being able to collect for 8 months doesn't work for me.

I don't like win totals either but Super Bowl,World Series winners etc. I love placing futures bets on those.

I put a hundy on Chiefs and Bengals to be Superbowl winners last year, and came fairly close on both.


I was in Vegas the day of NE vs. Chiefs, and was going to bet fairly large on Denver to win it all because I had a gut feeling after 159 beers and 79 shots.

I didn't make it to the sports book because I had 159 beers and 79 shots.

We got 11.

If Sean Smith hadn't gotten suspended those 3 games, we might have won another.

And that's with us missing our 2 best players for most of the year.
