The Bears won today and had 7 total passing attempts?

What's the story there? I had the game on in the background today and it didn't seem like there was a hurricane in the area or other weather stuff. Was it strategy, an anomaly, or something more sinister?

(I just added that sinister part for dramatic effect.)

I guess they got a couple of defensive touchdowns early, so maybe they were trying to protect a lead, but it seems like you'd have to pass more than that even if you're crawling into some sort of Galapagos turtle shell.

Before 1977 I would have thought chicago with Bobby Douglas but his fewest was 2 for 13 for 8 yards. For a whole game and he wasn't injured. Sacked 3 times for 7 yards so 1 net yard passing.

10-3 Chiefs

The touchdown came from a Tyler Palko hailmary to Dexter McCluster at the end of the first half.

I only know this because I remember streaming it in a hotel in Zurich while on business.

Dieon Sanders said about that game "I was 2 for 8..... in baseball". One of his great lines.

Bears defense looks very good. Hicks and Floyd are standouts.

Carolina wasn't doing anything especially after the O line injuries they took.

It was 10-3 where we won in Chicago back in 2011.
Tyler Palko threw up a Hail Mary at the end of the 1st half and McCluster**** caught it off a rebound. That's all we needed.

I only remember it because it was the first game I saw after deploying to the Middle East. I stayed up the entire night watching football before work. After that game, I reconsidered.

Did you also notice less commercials?

I typically try and stay behind about 15 minutes on the games so I can ffwd through the commercials.

I had the remote ready when they normally break at change of possession (punt/kickoff) and they didn/t break. WTF? Was it just the Bears game? The Bronco/Charger game?

Pretty Boy Assassin, yes that's what they're calling Trubisky here , was like 8-16 last week. It's kind of what they do. I guess it is somewhat refreshing to watch a defense that has actually practiced the tip drill though.

I was at that game. It was even worse in person. I remember walking out of the stadium, everybody had the same WTF was that? look on their faces.

If that wasn't the most poorly played game in NFL history I can't imagine what was. But I'm glad I didn't pay to see it live.

I want to say i went to a Broncos game at Arrowhead with Tebow at QB. Maybe december - it was cold (but not brutal cold).

I think the Broncos passed 4 times, and I think Tebow completed 2 of them.

....and the Chiefs lost.

I flip so much between games that I don't ever pay attention to commercial frequency but I do know before the season the NFL announced they would be cutt Nf back on the amount of commercial breaks
