At this point, I'd like to see the starting lineup of:

FRANKAMP
SELDEN
GREENE
ELLIS
CLIFF

with Oubre, Mason, and Traylor the first off the bench.

But I think there's a chance Lucas starts over Cliff initially. We've seen time and again how veterans get the nod to start the season. But, like Embiid, Cliff will take over that spot eventually.

Frankamp hasn't shown anything to deserve a starting PG role over Tharpe or Mason. He's barely played at all.

Agreed. About the only thing we've seen out of Frankamp is that he doesn't turn the ball over. But he doesn't create a lot, either.

Mason is going to be awesome next year, I think. Remember how psyched everyone was about this kid at the beginning of the year? He played out of his mind good. Then, he sorta tailed off, like a typical freshman. I think he's going to be outstanding next year, and if he hasn't taken the starting job by conference time, that can only mean good things, because it means Nadir is playing well. Or that we got Devonte Graham.

I am not saying that's what I expect, but what I'd like to see.

I, personally, think Conner is the only true PG we have on the roster right now.

Ok, KC Conn, here we go again......how about this......Tharpe has proven that he makes bad decision after bad decision both on and off the court. NOT what you want your point guard to be doing.

True, Frankamp didn't play a ton last year, but his court time did increase as the season progressed. Not sure that was true of Tharpe. I think Frankamp's arrow is pointing up, whilst Tharpe's arrow is pointing down.....except of course in the selfie.

Just saying'.....

Tharpe
Selden
Oubre
Ellis
Mickelson

Alexander, Mason, Traylor, Greene, frannie off the bench.

Which is a better indicator of his play last year.... the 2 tournament games or the rest of the season when he played very limited minutes and couldn't beat out Mason or Tharpe for more minutes?

Frankamp should progress nicely next season and I expect him to get some more minutes, but his overall play last year was nothing to jump up and down about.

No. What you saw is a freshman who was swimming and having a hard time staying afloat. The adjustment was apparently too much for him for most of the season. But like Perry Ellis, he started to get it late (later than Perry did).

As for who should start next year, I would hope that Mason can take it. Love Tharpe and his playmaking ability but he can't seem to get his head screwed on straight. And that is detrimental to the team.
