Heres a threepeat from an album that was every bit as eye opening, shocking and seminal for me as kiss alive, crue shout, gnr appetite, nevermind, you name an album that affected me deeply and this one HAS to be on that list...
Doom rock, or pretty damn close to it for these guys... Stoner rock, this song makes such beautiful noise, like a pretty hammer on mission to bludgeon you... And just the surfers being themselves, a perfect fit in this thread... |

20 years ago my Independent Worm Saloon CD was never an arms reach away from my stereo. It certainly had a major influence on where I am now with my musical interests.
Nice post, s.f. The summer of 1993 was a good time. Hangin' by the pool, chasing tail and rockin' out. |

Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats have released a new record and they didn't disappoint.

Couldn't agree more. These German boys know what they're doing and know how to do it well. Very well.

I pimp these guys a lot because they're former students. Seb (lead singer and guitar) is currently up in KC at the Art Institute (his art is on the cover). They just released their new album to some pretty nice writeups:
