Royals face the Rangers at Globe Life Park in Arlington for a four game series.

The last time the Royals faced the Rangers was Jul 28 - 31 and were swept all for games.

The Royals are currently 7-7. The Rangers are struggling at 5-10, last in the AL West.

Starting Pitchers:
Royals: Danny Duffy (1.80 ERA)
Rangers: Andrew Cashner (5.06 ERA)

Yeah given our starting pitching right now it would be wrong to pretend like this team shouldn't be trying to win. Dayton so far is right that our rotation is the best it's been which completely justifies trying to win and keeping the team together. The only thing that must change is Mondesi. Lots of players are struggling but we have numerous replacement options for him.

The worst part may be just how damn boring this team is to watch. My God, at least lose 10-9 or something. This shit is unwatchable. And before one of you assholes says "well, don't watch it then" I really didn't. Had it on 3x FF since the 7th inning. Didn't miss shit.

Mondesi's dad today would hit better than he would. Hope the Royals don't permanently **** this kids confidence up by letting him strike out twice a night for weeks or months.

Ha. I'm all for Whit or Colon at 2B. But Whit projects to be a below-average hitter at the MLB level, albeit, still better than Mondesi, at least for this year.

Joel Goldberg keeps saying the Royals are going to break out offensively. I don't think the current roster is good enough to "break out."
