I looked at them when I bought my VW GTI. Cute little car but the metal on the car was so thin. I give all cars an ass bump test to close the door. If the metal pops in and out, I consider it to be flimsy and a sign of the overall quality of the vehicle. It they're gonna allow something that visible, imagine what the interior bolts are made of.
It wasn't as bad as the Ford Focus though. That thing is a tin can.

lol, I hope not. It's not as tight as it used to be.
I may have a strange way of deciphering quality in cars I guess. But it's also a sign of how some cars get better mileage than they should. The car is simply light.
