2015 Fantasy Discussion

Drafts coming up in a couple weeks, and I haven't seen a thread yet.

Was wanting to get some input overrated players/sleepers/strategies etc.

I've been going back and forth on what I want to do with my 2nd rounder. I've done a few mocks, and I really want to take Luck in the 2nd.. but I just can't seem to get as good of a team that route.

Also for the later 1st round who do you take out of CJ Anderson, Jeremy Hill, and Demarco Murray? To me its between Murray and CJ.. Leaning towards Murray. I don't think there will be a huge dropoff for him this year like everyone else seems to think

Not a huge sleeper, but I've been taking Jordan Matthews in just about every mock. I think he is going to have a HUGE year and he will be great value. Even Agholor should be a good late pick. Also Martavis Bryant. I think they finally found the guy to take some pressure off of Antonio Brown. Lastly I like Ameer Abdullah.. he should be a great fit in that offense, and I saw that Bell is going to start the season on the PUP

Both Gurley and Mason were dropped by a guy in my main league.....which do I pick up? Mason is listed as the starter but Gurley may be the guy later.

FWIW, I would drop Davis (drafted as a handcuff for JC) to pick up either.

Gurley....unless you need serious help now.

Gurley won't get you points now....but he'll be a RB1 once he finally starts.

I looked back for this, but I didn't see it.. is this PPR? 1/2 PPR?

Knee jerk reaction would be YES, but that is because Martin didn't look nearly as good as preseason and Agholor was the forgotten man on Monday.

I hate rolling with Belicheck on RB's, but especially if there are any PPR points, Lewis could be real good. I wanted to roster him, but couldn't find a spot and I see someone just scooped him up in my league. Blount didn't look great in pre-season, so I could see Lewis keeping the 3rd down and passing designation and continuing to get some runs as well.

Garcon will be even more involved for a little bit here with DeSean out.

Part of me wants to wait until after the weekend, but if Martin and Agholor both have bad weekends, this deal might come off the table.

I'm looking to get a 2nd QB because I only have Rivers right now.
So Trade B is off the table.

Would you still do Trade A? Or should I give it a couple of weeks and then drop someone?

I know he's playing against us, but anyone know if CJ Anderson is likely a go for tonight? He's listed as questionable, but I'm thinking he'll start. Also, how's our run D?

Anderson is questionable with turf toe and Hillman is lurking in the backfield ready to steal carries..

Personally, I wouldn't start him but I'm not sure what your other options are looking like.

Eh, our waivers got screwed up this week thanks to our commissioner. I was going to drop someone else to pick up one of two people to start in Anderson's place if he did start. If he can't get things fixed by tonight, I have a RB at flex I can move up, and I'll just fill that spot with a receiver.

Mike Wallace for Eli? It isn't a bad trade if you want to roster a backup QB. Eli finished tenth in QB ratings last year, so I think that is a go.

Not crazy about Anderson tonight, just because of the injury, and because I think Hillman is pretty good as well. If you have no other RB1, you probably have to start him if he is active.

I wouldn't care normally.....but I don't 100% trust Rivers. That and if I wait until it's River's bye week....there could be jack shit to start. I may be holding off though.

No brainer you go with Gurley there. He's already practicing in full and offers tons more upside than Mason. Granted that offense isn't ideal for any fantasy rb but Gurley is a great pickup on the cheap.
